I'm Dr Gurdeep Dulay, Consultant Rheumatologist and Physician. I see private patients at Spire Portsmouth and Nuffield Health Wessex in Chandler's Ford, providing specialist assessment, ultrasound and treatment tailored to each patient.
Self-funding and privately insured patients welcome.

Most people arrive mid-flare, or after months of tests that haven't added up. Pick whichever is closest to you.
Joint injections and ultrasound when needed
Ultrasound is very good at showing what an examination alone cannot: whether a joint, tendon or soft tissue is genuinely inflamed, and exactly where the problem sits.
I have extensive experience in musculoskeletal ultrasound and carry out scans myself in clinic. Where an injection is appropriate, I perform that under ultrasound guidance.
What I treat
From the common and very treatable to the complex and hard to name.
About Dr Dulay
I am a Consultant at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth, where I have worked in both rheumatology and general medicine since 2017, and I am Clinical Director for General Medicine there.
That dual training matters more than it sounds. Rheumatological conditions can affect several organs at once, and patients often have more than one problem at the same time. Being a physician as well as a rheumatologist means I can look beyond the joints, see how symptoms connect, and make sure something else isn't being missed.
Patient feedback
Collected and verified independently by Doctify. I can't write them, edit them or take them down.
Have you been seen in one of my clinics? Leave a review on Doctify. Feedback goes straight to my public profile, and I have no way to change or remove it.
Book an appointment
Both hospitals take bookings directly through their own systems, so you go straight to my live diary.
Recognised by Aviva, AXA Health, Benenden, Bupa, Cigna, Healix, Vitality and WPA. Self-funding patients are welcome and fees are confirmed in writing before you book.
Not sure yet?
If rheumatology isn't the right place for your symptoms, I would rather tell you that than take a booking. Send a few lines and my secretary will come back to you.
